The SA MDB NRM Board provides landholders with incentive funding to undertake on-ground works for the conservation of biodiversity on private land. The incentives programs are run through the Local Action Planning Groups (LAP) and include funding to protect and enhance existing areas of native vegetation including fencing remnant vegetation, revegetation to establish corridors between areas of vegetation and buffering areas to increase their habitat value for native species. The board also funds the LAP groups to provide technical advice to landholders to assist them with managing biodiversity on their properties.
