Recovery of Threatened Plants

The Recovery Plan for nine nationally threatened plants found in the SA MDB region is being implemented through recovery efforts include managing threats such as weeds, rabbits, grazing and road maintenance activities. A number of on-ground works have been undertaken during the project including field surveys to search for and count populations, monitoring the condition of populations, erecting protective fencing, revegetation to buffer and connect populations and researching fire as a management tool. Other Key participants include the Threatened Plant Action Group (TPAG), Local Action Planning Groups, Threatened Species Network Local Government and landholders.
