The Regulatory and Policy Framework presents the regulations and policies that underpin the implementation of the regional NRM plan. This volume helps ensure the plan as a whole meets the requirements of the NRM Act. The Framework includes statutory requirements for water affecting activities, pest control, soil conservation and land management. It also aims to achieve alignment between the regional NRM plan, local government development plans and NRM objectives.

This volume will be reviewed and updated as necessary to reflect new requirements.
