The State of the Region provides the best available information to underpin the regional NRM plan’s strategic directions, investment priorities and future monitoring and evaluation. This volume describes the natural resources of the region and reports on their current state and condition, as well as trends in state and condition. It identifies threats and pressures impacting on natural resources and the current methods for managing these pressures and threats.

This volume will be reviewed every five years.
